Mission: New Frontier
Location: Unidentified vessel
Timeline: Before the Merlin docks at Starbase

The day had been a long one for Darok, and so after making dinner for himself, and Arianna, he'd gone straight to bed. He'd been asleep for maybe four hours, and so he was now fully unconscious, but when he felt the familiar tingle of a transporter beam, he was instantly awake.

When he opened his eyes, his bedroom was replaced by a much smaller version, and noticing that his sword was nearby, which was very odd, since he wasn't in his quarters anymore, he bee lined for it. Soon as he moved, he heard a woman's voice.

"I wouldn't do that, if I were you, Captain." The woman said. "You might regret it."

Darok stopped dead in his tracks, his hands going up as he turned to face the owner of the voice. The woman was a rather tall woman, pale skin, long blonde hair, blue eyes, and a phaser in her hand.

"Who are you?" He asked simply.

"Admiral Hammond sent me." She said, and as she noticed the look on his face, she put the phaser away. "Commodore Jewel Salisand, and I have a very important job for you, Captain."

"Interesting way to advise me of a mission, Commodore." Darok said, putting his hands down. "Why did you take me from my bed in the middle of the night?"

"It was the only way we could get to you, without alerting anyone else." She replied with a light smile. "You're going undercover. Your mission details will be provided in the morning. For now, you should try to get some rest."

"Fine, but I have one more question." Darok replied simply. "Where are you taking me?"

"For now, that information is classified." Jewel told him. "All of your questions will be answered in good time, Doctor. Please get some rest."

With that, she left the room, leaving him standing there frustrated, and confused. He paced the room for a bit, wondering what was coming. Finally, he laid back down to get some rest. Little did he know that it would be more than two decades, before he'd ever see his family, or friends again...
