Snatched

Mission: New Frontier
Location: Undisclosed location (Lizzy Cleh's hidden home)

As usual, the place was quiet, as Captain Jeh Cleh landed her shuttle just outside the front entrance. It always amazed her that Lizzy had chosen such a serene place to live. A small, sparsely populated moon, this place had a population of less than 500 people, and yet Lizzy had chosen a spot as far away from the inhabitants as she could get.

The view from the front entrance alone was astounding. A lush green meadow, followed by a beautiful forest that looked like it might have been standing for centuries. Not too far off in the distance was a waterfall that she'd usually manage to visit each time she came here. The only trail leading away from the house was a weather beaten dirt road.

Jeh gathered up her duffel bag, and headed into the house. As she walked through the door, it was easy to see that Lizzy didn't bother with the elegant look. It reminded her of their place back home. A rather plain looking living area with a couch, a coffee table, a couple of chairs, and a fireplace on the far side. The kitchen/dining room was rather small in comparison to their old one, but it was fully functional.

She set her bag down, and headed back to the bedroom. She knew Lizzy was sleeping, and didn't understand how anyone could still be asleep at this late hour of the morning. She entered the bedroom, and moved over to the window, pulling the curtains aside, allowing sunlight to pour into the room.

"Wakey, wakey sleepy head!" She said cheerfully.

Lizzy groaned, and moved to shield her eyes from the bright light that was suddenly bombarding her. "I hate morning people..." She replied tiredly.

"It's a beautiful morning, and here you are still in bed!" Jeh said jokingly. "You should be up, and outside, enjoying it!"

Lizzy rolled over, and promptly fell out of bed, landing face first on the floor. "Ugh..." She said, pushing herself up off the floor. "I swear morning people should be shot!"

"You'll thank me for it later, Liz." Jeh said with a giggle. "At least it's not the crack of dawn."

Before anything else could be said, the shimmer of transporter beams filled the room, and were replaced by 6 rather green individuals.

Fighting ensued, and between the two of them, they managed to take out 3 of the intruders, before Jeh was grabbed, and held at weapon point.

"One more move, and your sister dies!" One of the Orion men said loudly.

Lizzy turned to see that her sister was being held at weapon point. It was obvious that she was quite mad at what was happening. "Green swine sucker!"

"Lizzy!" Jeh called out from where she was being held. "Do you really think it's a good idea to egg them on right now?"

"You should listen to your sister." The man in charge said with a humored smile. "She seems to be a smart one."

"What do you want?" Lizzy snapped.

"Simple..." He said. "Your sister is heading for a base in one of the outlying systems. I want you to take her place, and provide us with information about the base, it's systems, and the outlying areas."

A look of disgusted disbelief came across Lizzy's face. "You can't be serious!" She said angrily. "I don't even know how Starfleet works, or anything about her job!"

"That's not my problem, is it?" The man said.

"Don't do it, Liz!" Jeh pleaded, and was promptly whipped with a weapon.

"You'll keep quiet, if you know what's good for you, Fleeter!" One of them snapped at her.

Lizzy hesitated, wanting to jump forward to try to stop this from happening, but the danger was too real for her. "What if I refuse?"

"Then you get to watch your sister die a very painful death, followed by your own painful death." Lizzy could tell that the threat was very real as he uttered it. "Make your choice!" He ordered.

Lizzy looked at her sister. She remembered the loss of her parents, and didn't want to be responsible for the death of her own sister too. "Fine, you win." She finally said. "I'll do what you want, but if anything happens to my sister, you can bet, I'm coming after you."

"Better get packing, Captain Cleh." He said with a grin. "You have a job to do." With that, he pressed a button on a device in his hand, and they all beamed out, leaving Lizzy there alone.

"I seem to have the worst luck in the galaxy..." Lizzy said to the empty room. "How am I going to pull this one off?"
