First Officer's log - Supplemental,

After losing contact with Taranok IV, we've mobilized a squadron of fighters, and transports to send in as recon. Preliminary reports suggest that some type of detonation, or disaster took place there, and one of our own officers was transporting a diplomat there.

All I can say is that I hope I'm wrong about what I think happened.
