I am coming up to the end of my first day on board Starbase 80. I am really impressed, I think this assignment is going to be a lot of fun.

Made a bit of an idiot of myself today. I formally introduced myself to a Lieutenant, the CO chief of staff. Well I did look smart. She was lovely girl and had a wonderful smile. I liked her, but there is something different about her. I still cannot believe that she was a Marine.

I requested a location for my Brigade. My Brigade is it still funny to say that. Rosaleen suggested a great location, we need our own place. Although I am fully aware that we need to have a very close relationship with Security. I must arrange to meet Commander Robert Gates.

Well time for bed, meeting my XO and clerk tomorrow, busy busy.

Also Computer it is great being back in my own skin, it has taken a while to adjust. It makes easier to try and deal with that day, as I will never forget it.
