| Physical Description | Probably the first thing people notice about Aryll, is her limp. When off duty, she walks about with a cane, as it's much more comfortable, than walking with her leg reinforcement, which allows her to appear to walk normally. The other noticeable thing about the woman, is her strict adherence to dress code. As an ex-marine officer, she's not particularly prone to outward expressions of individuality, although her attitude definitely has strayed from UFMC standards. |

| General Overview | While fairly "strict", by most Starfleet standards, she can be fairly friendly. She just takes time to acclimatize to, as she applies the same fervor that she used to place as a marine, as she does a doctor. She does, occasionally, have problems concentrating around large explosions, largely due to suspected PTSD. |

| Personal History | Child of two Starfleet Officers, it was little surprise, to most, that the "goodie twoshoes" LeStrat enlisted in Starfleet, at 18 years of age. Her choice of Combat Medical officer was also expected, as she had not wanted to disappoint either Marine Captain, nor Doctor Frost. The Dominion war over, by the time she finished the medical training part of her classes, she was posted to a medical transport, as her first posting. Six years of relative peace later, the transport was assaulted by a Cardassian splinter group, who had never encountered "Starfleet Marines" before. The three week siege of the U.S.S. Gates was one of the longest conflicts of the brief insurrection of Gul Tirak. Most of the crew of the Gates were medical personnel, including the Commanding officer. And most of them died. As did most of the Cardassians. The Gates, crippled, and unable to warp, was sieged by several waves of Cardassian invasions. And each wave was pushed back. By the end of the third wave, the Marine Captain in charge led a counter boarding party. Set the autodestruct of the Gates, as it was beyond repair of it's select few crew left, and commandeered the Cardassian ship. Aryll Lestrat suffered severe nerve damage from a Cardassian hand weapon in this fight, and, using her power-spent phaser rifle as a cane, continued to assist the boarding party, with her hand phased. This injury, however, invalidated her career as a Marine, and she was offered an honorable discharge in 2386. She refused. Oo-rah. |
