Up and Running---kinda

OK, we are officially transferred to Starbase 80, which is a Celestial Class Starbase, not the Stardock that we had hoped for. But it does give us the base that we need for operations, and with plenty of options. Still working on the Northstar Transport and the Garrison ships, but other than that we have everything else that we were looking at (the Sphinx Class Work Pod passed into OF tech a couple of weeks ago).

So lets start to arrive on board! Starbase 80 will be in orbit above Stratkas IV. There are 2 moons, and 5 continents on the planet. On the continent of Pratheus, the capital city is Meurdin. This is a coastal city, population 3.3 million. We will have a small base and office complex there as well, situated on the coast.

There will be additional facilities and satellites in orbit as well, both Starfleet and Planetary in origin. Starbase 80 is also home to Starfleet Materials Command, Frontier Division and has a full hospital facility.

Tons more details to come...and all are welcome to add as well. We will build up a database on this. I want to go at this with a different approach than we did on the Merlin. I don't feel that I gave you all enough information to keep things rolling. Well...it's a whole new ballgame.
